Research Interests
The research of our group is mainly focused on exploring the chemical mechanisms of the bio-molecular recognition reactions and trying to simulate the natural process to develop highly selective, sensitive and efficient analytical methods. Current research projects include:
- Exploring the mechanisms of interaction between DNA repair proteins and nucleic acids;
- In situ fluorescence imaging and structural analysis of DNA repair proteins in different subcellular compartments of living cells;
- Ultra-sensitive detection of DNA damage, genetic mutation, and multiple microbial gene sequences;
- Mimicking the bio-molecular recognition by molecular imprinting technology.
