In order to tackle the challenging problems in contemporary chemistry, our group aims to conduct interdisciplinary research by merging the principles of organic chemistry, supramolecular chemistry and polymer chemistry. Particularly, we focus on Free Radicals, a class of chemical species with open-shell electronic structures. Through the specific recognition and controlled assembly in radical systems, we attempt to modulate the activity of radical species in a rational manner, thereby facilitating the development of highly selective radical reactions and the innovative design of radical materials.
