Rong has been appointed as an assistant professor in the organic chemistry division of college of chemistry, Peking University starting March 2018.
Our research will be focused on developing synthetic tools based on new catalytic paradigms/intermediates to create structurally diverse organic materials. We would like to explore the amazing potential of metal-catalyzed transformations to address some of the most important problems in organic material chemistry, which will have a major impact on our lives in a variety of ways.
