Han-Li, Fan, Wei-Ting and Jun-Jie’s work on dual cobalt/photoredox catalysis oxidative hydrofunctionalization has been published on ACS Catalysis. This work highlights a hypothesis-driven approach that uses photochemical oxidation to overcome previous encountered difficulties associated with Co(III)/Co(III) redox process.
