Chao Wang was born in Shanxi, China. He received his B.E. in Chemical Engineering & Technology at China University of Mining and Technology in 2016, and his Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry at Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU) under the supervision of Prof. Jie-Peng Zhang in 2024. Now he works as a postdoctoral researcher at Peking University collaborating with Prof. Sihai Yang. His research interest focuses on synthesis of new metal-organic frameworks (MOF) and their applications of adsorptive separation.
His awards include National Scholarships (2015 and 2020) and Outstanding Graduate Students of SYSU (2024).
